Communities in Anyako and its surroundings in the Keta Municipality are faced with acute water shortage after the collapse of the pumping machine that supplies the area. Residents have therefore resulted to getting water from sources that pose a lot of health challenges to the people. Schools and health facilities are not left out of the situation and there are fears of a possible recurrence of cholera that hit the area last year. The Ghana Water Company (GWC) and DANIDA had so far ignored appeals. Anyako Konu Ass. Inc is appealing to your good nature to rectify the situation before the situation becomes worse.
