Anyako Konu Town Association Inc. filed Articles of Incorporation in the State of California on Monday, July 07, 2003 and is approximately eleven years old. The association was founded as an international relief 501(c) charitable organization to raise funds for the development of Anyako Konu town in the Volta Region of Ghana, West Africa. Anyako Konu is a small island located within the Keta Lagoon with a population of about 10,000. The citizens of Anyako Konu are mainly fishermen, fishmongers, traders and weavers and were one of the most respected trade centers along the Southern Coast of Ghana.
